How to Get Your Google Review Link (and Send It the Right Way)

Draft content asset for the ReviewPilot SEO engine — Phase 2 publish. Targets: "google review link", "google review qr code", "ask customers to leave a google review", "google business profile review link".

Most customers who intend to leave you a review never find the review page. They search your business, click the wrong listing, hit a login wall, or give up. Your direct review link removes that friction — and it's the single highest-converting ask you can make.

Find your direct review link

  1. Open Google Business Profile (search your business name while signed in).
  2. Click Menu → "Ask for reviews" (on mobile: the "More" menu).
  3. Copy the link — it usually looks like https://g.page/r/<code>/review or https://search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid=....
  4. Test it in an incognito window: it should land straight on the review dialog, no navigation.

If the link breaks, regenerate it from the same menu — the g.page short form can change.

Where to put it (the moment matters more than the medium)

The ask that works

What NOT to do

Close the loop: reply to every review

A review link gets you the reviews; replying to every one is what keeps them coming. Customers check whether their feedback landed — a business that replies within 48 hours looks alive, cared for, and worth choosing. It's also one of the few review signals you fully control.

The sustainable loop: ask (direct link, right moment) → reply (every review, within 48h) → improve (fix what negative reviews reveal) → repeat monthly.

If you manage several locations, keeping that loop running on each one is exactly the kind of task that disappears when you have one dashboard with per-location tones and one-click drafts — you approve each reply before it goes out.

Draft — review for accuracy before publishing.

Never miss a review again.

ReviewPilot drafts on-brand replies to every Google review in seconds — you approve before anything goes out.
