Draft content asset for the ReviewPilot SEO engine — Phase 2 publish. Targets: "google review reply templates", "how to respond to google reviews", "review response examples".
A template gets you 80% of the way. The last 20% — naming the customer's actual experience — is what makes a reply feel human instead of canned. Use these as a starting point, then make them specific.
The customer is happy. Your job: thank them personally and gently invite a return.
Template 1 (friendly):
Thanks so much, {name}! We're thrilled you enjoyed {specific dish/service}. Come back soon — we'd love to see you again.
Template 2 (professional):
Thank you for the kind words, {name}. We're glad {specific} met your expectations, and we appreciate you taking the time to review us.
Template 3 (short):
{name}, this made our day. Thank you!
A 4-star is a compliment with a tiny asterisk. Address the asterisk and you often earn the 5th star next time.
Template 4:
Thank you, {name}! We're glad you enjoyed {specific}. You mentioned {small issue} — we're looking into it and hope to earn that 5th star next visit.
Template 5:
Appreciate the 4 stars, {name}. If there's anything that would have made it a 5, we'd love to hear it.
A 3-star says "fine, but not memorable." It deserves a real, specific reply — not a template that ignores the friction.
Template 6:
Thanks for the honest feedback, {name}. We're sorry {specific issue} fell short, and we've shared it with the team. We'd love another chance to make it right.
Template 7:
{name}, we hear you on {specific issue}. That's not the experience we want to deliver — we're on it. Please reach out at {phone/email} if you'd like us to make it right directly.
Two stars means real disappointment. Acknowledge it without being defensive, offer a concrete fix, and take the details out of the public thread.
Template 8:
{name}, we're sorry to hear this — {specific issue} isn't the standard we hold ourselves to. We'd like to make it right. Please email us at {email} and we'll sort it out personally.
Template 9:
Thank you for telling us, {name}. We take this seriously and have already flagged {specific issue} with the team. We'd appreciate the chance to fix it — {contact}.
The 1-star reply is the highest-stakes reply. Never argue, never apologize for things that aren't real, never copy-paste. Acknowledge, commit, invite offline.
Template 10:
{name}, we're genuinely sorry about {specific issue}. That's not the experience we want anyone to have. We'd like to make this right — please contact us at {email} or {phone} so we can.
Template 11:
We hear you, {name}, and we're sorry {specific} let you down. This has been shared with the team directly. If you're open to it, we'd love to make it right — {contact}.
Template 12:
{name}, thank you for the honest review. We take {specific} seriously and are already working on it. Please give us a chance to make it right — {contact}.
